Being leader of the fish feed sector, ABL FOODS, has started sea bream and sea bass breeding in Karaburun in 2009, İzmir by deciding carrying on its speciality to fish production. It has been one of the leading breeders of the sector by reaching 10,000 tons capacity now, which started with 950 tons. By starting trout breeding in addition to sea bream and sea bass in 2014, it has reached to 10,000 tons breeding capacity in total in Kayseri, Elazig and Mugla. Marine fish breeding is carried out in off-shore systems that allow fish to grow in their natural environment.
During fish production processes, water control, health status and nutrition reports are routinely recorded. In this way, the conditions of fish production, such as period of the production and the feeds used, is easily accessible. Parallel to the developing capacities, the production is realized in a customer-oriented, forward-thinking, healthy, high-quality and environmentally respectful manner through monitoring and sustainability applications
